The Pawtique CleanSweep™ Self-Cleaning Slicker Brush is a reusable grooming brush for dogs and cats. Its fine angled metal pins help lift loose fur from the coat, while the rounded bead tips and textured handle support a more controlled everyday brushing routine.
What is a self-cleaning slicker brush?
A self-cleaning slicker brush uses a movable release plate around the pins. After brushing, press the rear button to slide the plate forward, lift collected fur away from the pin bed and remove it in one tidy layer.
Rounded bead-tipped pins
The dense metal pins are angled to move through the outer coat and collect loose hair. Each pin ends in a small rounded bead. Use light pressure, follow the direction of hair growth and avoid the face, ears and any irritated or broken skin.
One-click hair release
When the brush is full, hold it over a bin and press the gray button on the back of the head. The front plate moves forward to help separate the collected fur from the pins, so the brush is easier to clear between passes.
Textured handle and hanging loop
The faceted charcoal-gray grip is shaped for a steady hold, and the built-in hanging loop keeps the brush within reach between grooming sessions.
Can it be used for both dogs and cats?

How to use
- Start with a dry coat and check for knots, skin irritation or sensitive areas.
- Use short, gentle strokes in the direction of hair growth. For longer coats, work in small sections without pulling.
- Do not force the brush through tight mats; use a suitable detangling tool or ask a professional groomer for help.
- Press the rear button over a bin to lift the collected fur from the pin bed.
