The Pawtique QuietGlide™ Rechargeable Pet Nail Grinder is a cordless nail-filing tool for dogs and cats. Its rotating abrasive drum removes small amounts from the nail edge, while two selectable speeds and three interchangeable port heads help you choose a controlled setup for different nail shapes.
Two selectable speeds
Begin with the gentler setting while your pet becomes familiar with the sound and sensation. Move to the faster setting only when your pet remains comfortable and additional filing is needed.
Three grinding-port heads
Choose between open access, a narrow side opening or full drum access. Select the port that lets the nail sit steadily without forcing it into the opening, and keep fur clear of the rotating drum.
Abrasive grinding drum
The replaceable drum shapes and smooths the nail edge without using a clipping blade. Work gradually with light pressure and brief passes to help limit heat buildup.

How to use
- Introduce the tool gradually and choose the appropriate port head.
- Hold the paw securely without squeezing and separate surrounding fur from the nail.
- Start on the gentler speed and touch only the nail tip to the drum.
- Use light pressure in short passes, checking the nail and drum temperature between passes.
- Stop before reaching the quick and reward your pet after each successful step.
Care and safety
Switch the grinder off before changing the port head or sanding drum. Brush away nail dust after use and wipe the housing with a dry or lightly damp cloth; do not immerse the grinder or expose the charging port to water. Replace a worn or damaged drum. Stop if your pet becomes distressed, the nail becomes warm or you cannot confidently identify a safe filing point, and consult a groomer or veterinarian when needed.
