Really happy with this bed. It feels plush, holds its shape well, and my pet looks ridiculously comfortable in it.
Setting the bed in the sun after taking it out of the packaging is a must as it is vacuum sealed and will not be fluffy! My cat is around ten pounds and LOVES IT!
I set it down in front of him, and he flopped his front paws on it, looked around, then promptly bit the big fluffy sides. So far, he's sat next to it, cuddled up to it, and sniffed the heck out of it, but he's not to sure about it, yet. I'll post an update when he makes up his mind..Edit: he keeps his favourite stuffies in it, and cuddles with it. 🤷♀️Edit: here it is, November and... my weird cat has spent the last few months keeping his favourite toys on this cat bed. The other night, I put my cat in the cat bed and held him there while I brushed him until he became more interested in being brushed than he was in running away. He has now decided he loves the cat bed. Just in time for the cold weather.
I set this on the bed and less than a minute later Maggie was curled up in it. So sooooo worth it!! Especially as for just a small dog she takes up an entire queen bed!
This is a very well made fur baby bed. It is super soft and warm. I was skeptical that Mr Simon would even use it as we lost our other fur baby this year and he hasn't wanted to go near her areas or use the beds or towers that they shared. He didn't use it for the first month we had it but once I put the Christmas tree up and put it under the tree, he uses it all the time and it is now his favorite spot and place to sleep!Just a note to anyone who has lost a fur baby and who have other ones that may be morning the lost of their play mate. Our vet told us not to make drastic changes to their routine and not to replace favorite beds or toys. But if yours is like Mr Simon who would not use them after the other passed, I slowly have been replacing them and putting his sent on the new item. I do this by rubbing a towel or blanket that he uses on the new item transferring his sent onto the new item. Cat nip helps as well as attaching some of his favorite string toys to the new tower or beds. Hope this help!
Do not have puppy yet I’m sure he will love it. I am impressed with the interior fabric it’s so smooth, soft and plush. I mean how could he not love this bed.
Nice bed, right out of the packaging it was big and fluffy. My dog hasn’t gone inside yet, but she likes occasionally laying on the top. Hopefully, it will was well?
We will be picking up our new miniature poodle puppy on January 19! So we won’t know if the fit is right until then, but he should be around 9 pounds full grown. Can’t wait!
I received the bed today I was disappointed on the size of the bed it a little small I have a Maltese she weighs 11 pounds I thought it would be determined a little bigger other then that it a nice.
I got this primarily for a couple of my senior cats to relax on. They took to it pretty quickly and are enjoying it. It comes packed very tightly so be ready with scissors or a knife to help you unpack it. There is a bit of a chemical smell to it that might put some people and cats off, but it dissipates once you give it time to air out. My only complaint is that it isn't stuffed very much. My cats don't seem to mind, but I expected it to look more like the picture. I tried to fluff it up as much as I could but that didn't help much. If you have a cat or dog that lights to burrow or settle into a crevice this might be great for them.
Got this for my cat Spike because he has issues with anxiety sometimes, gets cold easily, and also has mild arthritis. I wanted him to have a bed that he could kind of sink into. This bed definitely serves that purpose.He's already calmer from laying on it. It's easier for him to get up and turn himself around. He fits better in this bed than the one he had before.At first he wouldn't lay on it or even touch it, but after I sprinkled some catnip on it he snuggled right up on this bed.
There is nothing fundamentally wrong with this bed, but it just seems . . . flimsy. There isn't much padding to the bottom and the sides just kind of sag like there isn't enough stuffing. It IS nice and soft and seems well made and the cats are laying in it - but it is not the nicest bed we have.
I bought this bed for my cats. At first, they did not even realize it was there. About 1 week after receiving it, my one cat discovered it and went to work making biscuits on it. Since then, both kitties love it and take turns sleeping in it. Perfect size for both of them (8lbs and 14lbs).
For some reason my cat won’t have anything to do with this bed. She seems to prefer firmer sleeping arrangements. But! Her cousin loves it, sleeps all curled up each night. I’d love one too!
It arrives shrink wrapped, so is pretty 'flat' after unwrapping.Also, the shrink wrapped bag was itself wrapped around with clear packing tape, which made it a bit tricky to open up with a blade w/o cutting the bed. (Minor issue).One of my cats immediately 'demanded' it and took possession (see picture) - which I take as high praise!Minor quibbles:- the stringy material seems to get caught in his (very sharp) claws - I expect he'll figure that out.- the side bolsters (around the perimeter) are pretty flimsy/floppy. This may 'fluff up' over time, and a result of being vacuum packed, but not quite the 'lean up against' bolsters I have with other cat beds..this is flatter.But, at least one cat really likes it, so it gets praise for that!
The weather changed and the temp dropped right around the time this was delivered. It came vacuum sealed but was difficult to get open because someone also wrapped a ton of packing tape around it so I had to figure out how to cut it open without cutting the bed itself. Personally I think it could have been stuffed fuller than it is and yes I waited 24 hours before letting the cats have it. However, despite what I think every time I walk past it someone is curled up asleep inside. I ordered the slightly larger one thinking they might want to curl up together and snuggle but that hasn’t been happening and I would probably order the smallest one if I were to do it again. But the one I have seems to be cat approved.
