UPDATE: My vet told me these harnesses are fine as long as your dog doesn’t display discomfort. Well after a couple months of daily walks my dog started not liking the harness and I noticed a rash on her butt area so I’ve stopped using this for now. I think its fine it for bikes or scooter rides but the constant up-and-down movement during walking will eventually cause rashes and discomfort. It’s still a well made product so I am leaving my 5 stars but just be mindful of your use cases.————————————————————————————————————————————My dog loves this carrier. As soon as I grab it she starts wagging her tail and starts jumping around. Once I place her in, she becomes completely still and relaxes her muscles. It’s unbelievable. I’ve never seen her so comfortable in anything before! We take 30 minute walks every night and she likes to cuddle with me after as if to say thanks for the ride lol.I appreciate the padding on this carrier. I think it helps a lot with making her relaxed. I also like the OD green color and the back straps to secure everything.My only concern would be her tail area. There’s a hole for her tail but I’m not sure if she likes that as sometimes she shifts her body to the side. Not sure what would be a better design though for next time. Bigger hole?
This is a nice way to carry your small pup and stay close to comfort them. My girl feels very safe and secure in her puppy pouch!! I love it. Easy to adjust and plenty of room. Comfortable to wear and comfortable for my girl!
I am using for my 10-12lb yorkie (TikTok is BrisketRides). I ordered a small. It’s a little snug on him but he feels secure in it. I use it on my bike and he fits great.
We go on long hikes, regularly, with our 3 1/2 year old Wheaten Terrier and we knew our 10 week old Wheaten wouldn’t be able to keep up. I tried a couple of carriers and this one is by far the best one! Padding and support all the way around for me and the pup and the material is breathable so he didn’t get too hot. The only downside is it’s a little tricky to put on by yourself, but I think it will get easier with practice. Our little guy loved the view and we were stopped by so many people asking about the carrier. I highly recommend this product!*At the time these pictures were taken, our pup weighed a little less than 10 lbs and we ordered the small.
There are straps for the dog's hips, and over their shoulders, keeping them pretty secure. Lots of strap adjustment room. I bought a small and 6.5 lb pomeranian pictured fits perfectly. I also adjusted to fit 5 lb and 7.5 lb pomeranians all in the size small. Waist strap for the person is incredibly long so I cut it down. Also has a strap across the back for more comfort (avoids hunching and fatigue). I think this is a great bag seems sturdy and well made. My dog is secure in the fit and also has a safety strap. Love the purple color!
Fits my 9 month old boy perfectly who is around 12 kilos and the weight is evenly distributed on the straps without straining my pet and he seems to be comfortable
I bought this to put my 20 lb husky puppy in so I could continue training for backpacking this summer. I tried 3 different backpacks and this one was definitely the best. Felt most sturdy for my back and the dog. Has a strap on the upper back and low back for security. Also has a little hole for the dogs tail to go through. I would have gotten a large for my 20 lb husky instead of XL.Although it looked super comfy for my doggo, he hated being in a pack with passion, so I will be returning, but if your dog is more chill, this is totally perfect!!
My dog is super comfy and fell asleep in it during a zoom meeting. He’s strapped in like he’s on The Power Tower. Straps are padded and comfy. The tail hole is a nice touch. My dog is 20lbs, 14” at the shoulder, has a sight hound body, and I purchased a large. A medium was too small.
Measure before purchasing. We thought our boy was a medium, and we had to return it to get a large. Overall, it is comfy for me, and my pup loves it. It’s sturdy, great quality, and cute.
I love this backpack! It'll be so much easier taking my dog through train stations now. I bought a medium size first as per size guide but it was too small, returned that and ordered large for my 11kg lhasa apso. Great fit and so comfy for both of us. My dog has allergies and bites his legs a lot and this backpack didn't rub on the sores at all.
I wanted to find a carrier for my (slightly) chunky pug for when he poops out on walks. I wanted him to still be involved instead of left home but needed something to use to carry him since he is 21 pounds. I purchased this and it’s a great little carrier for shorter distances. The only issue is I think just the shape of my dog causes him to sit very forward which pulls a lot on my back and I wish there was adjusters on the little dog shoulder straps to keep him pulled back, but other than that I love this and my dog is super comfortable being carted around in it!
Cannoli is a Shih Tzu mix. He’s about 16-18lbs. I purchased a medium and fits perfect! The cushion on the straps is great for me when wearing! I’ve had a few other carry packs in the past and this one is the best! Especially for the price.
Very easy to clip! Holds very well. Took it a little bigger, will fit him as he grows!He actually like going in, looks everywhere. The bottom hole for the tail is great!
Despite double checking to ensure the right size, my dog won't be carried in this PetBonus Front Dog Carrier Backpack. Getting him in and out of the carrier is easy enough. It seems built well, looks long lasting and felt comfortable on me during the short time I tried to wear it. My guess is it's because the sitting position is different from that of his normal carrying sling. He pitched fits so forcefully that I was afraid he might hurt himself. If I get another puppy or a much younger dog, I'll give it another try.
Size Large was a perfect fit for our Black 16lb Multipoo! He didn’t love it but didn’t hate it either lol. Size Medium for our 9lb White Multipoo she loved it!!!
This carrier is perfect for my dog and I. He's a 14 lb pomeranian husky. The carrier is light weight, it's compact for packing, it's breathable - a lot of ventilation, there are no zippers that can snag on fur, it’s secure and comfortable for our hikes. It’s easy to get the dog into the carrier with a helping hand. My dog loves it!!

I always thought small dogs were wimpy. But having an 8 pound pooch is so handy. Phoebe fits perfectly into this carrier and despite my bad back I feel like I could pack her anywhere. People seem to care a lot less about you having a dog in their store or wherever, if you have a small dog in a pack. They see she can’t get out and run or get close enough to bite anyone. But more importantly, it keeps our puppy feeling like she has her master very nearby to keep her safe. She seems much more content and stays quiet better in the pack than on a leash.This is a very well made pack that has padding where needed and lots of straps going this way and that to keep Phoebe comfortable and well supported from every side. I loaded her in a few times by myself but it is much easier with an assistant. It is much easier to get her out than to load her in. The material seems durable and cleans up easily. There are two straps that go around the back of the human wearer to ease the strain on backs and shoulders.I’m quite satisfied with this product.
Amazing quality, easy to use (once you get the hang of it), and our dog was so comfy in it and she’s too big per the XL size chart! I wish they made 1 size bigger for her but she honestly loves it! Many more trips planned with this! Enjoy some pics of us in NYC with this! ❤️
My dog fits very well in this and doesn’t seem uncomfortable in it. I could just tell she’d rather be walking lol. It’s easy to put her in it, even on my own. I just lay it on the bed and strap her in and put it on like a normal backpack. Sizing guide is accurate.
Pupper did not like it ! He seemed to lean too far forward to make it comfortable. He is not neutered so there is that being squished too. Returned …. very nice quality though if you can get your dog to relax in it mine said NO way!
I’m 70 and my first puppy let alone dog. Ottis is a 4 mo. Old golden doodle. Weighs about 18 lbs. The idea is perfect and quality is top notch! 5 stars. I’m only sorry I could not navigate w/or w/out help. I guess that’s why the ad and description is with a younger person. lol. I had to face the facts and stop trying and admit I can’t do everything like I used to do. 😩 I do highly recommend this product!
My dog is a bully breed who weighs 55lb. The pack is easy but cumbersome to attach to him. Also, I don’t recommend carrying a dog that size in front of you on a road bike. There wasn’t enough support while carrying him in front. I had to carry Tiger behind me when he gets tired. Also, I don’t think he liked being behind me. He grunted the entire trip. Other than that, it wasn’t a bad purchase.
Although my little Maltipoo is still getting used to it, she enjoys going to the gro ery yore with me. It's very comfortable & fits well. It is very easy to put on. I suggest putting it on first, then placing puppy in it. Looks good & not a bad price. The only tweaks I suggest is greater adjustability of the straps for the human & possibly shorter. In particular, the waist strap can only be adjusted on left side. It should be both sides, so extra strap isn't do long.
